Taxi Millionare – New York

Main Objective

Taxi Millionaire is a multiplayer trivia game where players play together towards a shared goal to reach  the million coins prize.
The game helps kids improve their spoken English as well as their vocabulary, reading and writing.
Taxi millionaire – New York is based on the successful game Taxi Millionaire that was released 4 years prior.  

Gameplay

The game offers two different types of English learning experience

Spoken English
players answer the trivia questions by speaking to the device’s microphone,
The voice recognition system then notifies the players of the accuracy of the answer and they recieve points in accordance to thier accuracy (ranking from 1-3 stars)
If a player didn’t give a perfect answer the right answer will be voiced out for the player to know and remember for next time.

Vocabulary and reading
Players learn new words and improve thier reading while trying to pick the correct answer. 

Other features of the game include: leaderboard, timeline progression with wearable prizes for thier players, chat room, a spinning wheel where they can win many rewards for thier player both in the game and in the virtual world.

Awards
The game won 1st place in the 2020 Speakathon competition that was organized by the Ministry Of Education And Innovation to help improve children’s english level.
It was later selected to be implemented in schools across the country with an expanded version of the game titled Academik
